Dankar's der Klotz

Klotz is as confident and comfortable as they come laying around the house or flipping the switch to burn up the fields. He has a very strong natural ability, intelligence, prey drive, water drive, cooperation and calm temperament.
He is our house dog and one of two shorthairs we keep in the house. He loves to curl up on his section of the couch or at your feet. But don't think he doesn't turn it on when he hits the field.
Klotz has hunted waterfowl and upland since he was a pup. He has hunted areas including Canada, ND, SD, MN, IA,WI and NE on all available upland and waterfowl. He has been used as a guide dog the past several seasons. He is an absolute joy to hunt behind and watch work.
Owner: Justin Linhardt

The ability and cooperation Klotz showed throughout his training at Willow Creek allowed him to finish his Master Hunter title is one season. No easy feat. I have spent quite a bit of time with Klotz, most recently in Saskatchewan. He has the drive to retrieve ducks and geese in freezing temps and the versatility to come in the cottage and calm right down. He is a truly versatile dog.  Trainer: Chad Hines - Willow Creek Kennels

Dankar Puppies are whelped and raised in our home. Puppies are exposed to and socialized with other dogs, children, and adults daily.

At 3 to 16 days of age Dankar puppies begin a program of neurological stimulation modeled after the U.S. Military's BIO-SENSOR/SUPER DOG program. The BIO-SENSOR/SUPER DOG program was developed to improve the performance of dogs through early neurological stimulation. A set of 5 exercises designed to stimulate and stress the neurological system is done daily with each puppy. BIO-SENSOR/SUPER DOG puppies benefit from the program with improved cardio-vascular performance, stronger heart beats, stronger adrenal glands, a greater tolerance to stress, and greater resistance to disease. Additionally, BIO-SENSOR/SUPER DOG puppies are found to be more active, exploratory, and tolerant of testing, less stressed, and when compared to non-stimulated puppies prove dominant in competitive situations.

Puppies will be registered with AKC and NAVHDA (North America Versatile Hunting Dog Association). They will come to you with their first shots given, dew claws removed, tails docked, and a veterinarian check. Puppies can be reserved for a non-refundable $100.00 deposit and will be chosen in the order deposits are received. Six deposits will be accepted per litter and then a list of interested parties will be kept for any additional puppies. Puppies typically go home at ten weeks old but may leave the litter at eight weeks of age. The puppies will be exposed to quail, pigeons, and ducks before leaving the litter and water introduction will be done, weather permitting.
